In the automotive industry, there are a plethora of overall value rewards that are handed out toward the end of every season, and Edmunds.com  has long been a respected purveyor of a series of these prizes. Here at Griffins Motor Company, we were delighted to learn this year that the lineup of new Jeep vehicles was honored by the publication for being among the best non-luxury brands in terms of value retention, which we know many drivers in the Meadville area will certainly appreciate.

With an estimated 50.6 residual value score after five years, Jeep took the top spot on the list this year, with the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee being lauded as models which really boost the automaker's image.

"The Wrangler is especially vital to the brand because its retained value sits at an elite level matched by few other vehicles in any segment," says director of auto remarketing for Edmunds.com, Joe Spina.

Edmunds also hands out more individualized awards around this type, handing out prizes across 22 distinct categories which are determined by body type and the weight sales average of all variants of the model type. An auto's "retained" value is looked as the potential for resale after five years or after about 15,000 miles of driving.

If you'd like to learn more, come speak with one of our qualified associates here at 11301 Perry Highway in Meadville, PA, and we'll get you on the road to owning a new or used Jeep of your own.
