If you're someone that's always got an ear to the ground for news from the automotive industry, you may already be aware that the lineup of new Chrysler vehicles will soon boast a new compact luxury car. It will be dubbed the Chrysler 100, and will nicely fit into the offerings that are already available. The Chrysler 200 takes care of the mid-size segment, and the 300 the full-size. The 100, however, will exclusively be offered in a hatchback iteration.

We've had a lot of questions about the model, so we're sharing what we know so far about the 100 luxury hatchback. The model is constructed on the FIAT Compact US Wide platform, and we expect it'll offer several 4-cylinder engine options. Though we're unsure if this rumor is true, we have heard whispers that the vehicle could also include V6 underpinnings.

Recently, the model was spied testing by some stealthy photographers, and the resulting pictures show a sticker that reads "E85 only," leading some to wonder if an iteration of the 100 that's ethanol-capable will also be making its way to dealerships, like ours at 11031 Perry Highway Meadville, PA 16335.

Other takeaways from the photos are that lots of impressive Dodge parts will be on display, taking cues from the current 200 model in terms of styling and bodylines.
