Here at Griffin's Motor Company,
we believe in the power of an education, and hope our
country's students are learning to the fullest
of their potential. A RAM initiative
backed by new
RAM trucks in support of the future agriculture
professionals of America has been providing scholarships to students across the
U.S. for 29 years, making the future brighter for the future famers in our
nation, and we're happy to report the program is still going strong.
The scholarships are presented in accordance with the National FFA Organization, come in amounts of $1,000 and $2,500, and are meant to help offset college costs.
Additionally, RAM will donate an incredible $1 million to the FFA, as it is always looking to support agriculture in the United States. The company is even running a big-time ad campaign called "The Year of the Farmer" based around support of agricultural communities and the people who support them. These funds also provide hunger relief in underprivileged areas of our country.
"The brand commissioned 10 noted photographers to document American farm life for the video, and will compile the images into a book to be released later this year, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to agriculture and hunger-related efforts across the country," says a RAM press release. "'Farmer' is about having America appreciate everything that farmers and farm families do on a daily basis and captures the hard work, determination and character of the farmer in all of us."1
